Users can view pictures, biographies and multimedia relating to the famous residents interred at Woodlawn.
The specially designed walking tours center around specific themes such as Civic Leaders, featuring illustrious New York names such as Guggenheim, LaGuardia, and Van Wyck; or Entertainers including George M. Cohan, Leopold Damrosch and Irving Berlin.
The popular Jazz Musicians tour stops at Woodlawn’s famous Jazz Corner where Miles Davis and Duke Ellington are buried and continues on to the final resting places of other jazz greats such as Illinois Jacquet, Jackie McLean, and Max Roach.
Other tour routes include Artists and Architects; Black History; Civil War; Eat, Drink and Be Merry; Entrepreneurs; Latinos; and Women.
