Path Through History – Italian Heritage Trolley Tour

Celebrate Italian Heritage Month and join us in October as we investigate the memorials that were created by Italian sculptors and carvers.

Many of these works were created by the Piccirilli brothers known for carving iconic works like the Lincoln Memorial.

Other artists represented at Woodlawn include: John Grignola, Giuseppe Moretti and Oronzio Maldarelli.

On this trolley tour you’ll see mausolea and monuments documenting the lives of artist Joseph Stella, restaurateur Placido Mori, Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, and newspaper mogul Generoso Pope.

Meet at the Jerome Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue entrance. 1:45 PM.

Only 30 spots available for this exclusive Woodlawn Cemetery tour so tickets must be purchased in advance.

We anticipate this tour selling out quickly so tickets must be purchased in advance.

Tour is rain or shine.  Ticket sales are final.  Refunds will not be issued.

We are located directly across the street from the Woodlawn stop on the #4 subway.

Free parking available in Woodlawn Cemetery.

We look forward to hosting you.
