Woolworth Chapel

THE WOOLWORTH CHAPEL was built in 1935 after a gracious gift from Fred and Velma Woolworth. The chapel is made of stone, featuring terrazzo marble floors, and a bell tower. The Chapel seats up to 100 people and provides a beautiful setting for services and the like.

Over the years, the Chapel has served many families of all faiths for services and concerts. Today, besides being a beacon of familiarity of Woodlawn, we offer the Chapel to families who prefer to have their committal service inside.

We also hold lectures, concerts and other special events in the Chapel. Please see the Friends of Woodlawn area on the website for upcoming events.
