Guidelines for
Visiting Woodlawn
The Woodlawn Cemetery encourages families, friends and the greater New
York community to visit the cemetery. In order to provide the appropriate
environment for our lot owners and families, all visitors are required
to adhere to the following:
- No Jogging, Bicycling or Skating
- No picnics or alcoholic beverages.
- No dog walking
- Photographers are required to obtain a permit from
the administrative office
- The speed limit is 20 miles per hour
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- No Soliciting
- Memorial tributes and decorations are welcome; providing they conform to our Rules & Regulations of The Woodlawn Cemetery - Rules & Regulations. Candles
and vigil lights are not permitted. Cards, flowers and other appropriate
tributes may be placed on single graves or family lots. No tape or
other adhesives are to be used to attach tributes to memorials or
community mausoleum crypt fronts
