Join Susan Olsen, Woodlawn Historian, for a weekend of activities. Events include a tour of the final resting places of those who built some of the nation’s greatest historic sites; a Social Media Scavenger Hunt; a guided tour of recently restored monuments; a twilight tour of Woodlawn’s extraordinary mausoleums as the full moon rises and a whole lot more.

Saturday May 5th
11AM Alva Belmont and the Landmark Builders – Jerome Avenue Entrance
Tour the final resting places of the builders of some of the nation's greatest historic sites. Included on the tour are the mausoleums of pioneering businessmen and business-women and philanthropists: F.W. Woolworth, Henry A.C. Taylor, William Bateman Leeds, William A. Clark, Augustus Juilliard, Samuel Kress and Alva Belmont.
3PM Scavenger Hunt: Like a Landmark! – Jerome Avenue Entrance
Join Woodlawn's Social Media Scavenger Hunt – find the sites, share your experience & earn enough points for a ticket to the Firefly picnic. Participants can use their smart-phone or the old fashioned pencil/paper to participate. The hunt will take you on a one-mile course where you'll visit extraordinary works of art and architecture found throughout Woodlawn.
